Newtown AB Block Residents' Cultural & Social Association was formed with the prime objective of ensuring welfare for all the residents of the block. Thus the sole purpose is social wellbeing through harmonious coexistence. We are keen towards your feedback and opinion to make the neighbourhood all the more vibrant and utilitarian. Newtown AB Block Residents' Cultural & Social Association has been formed to:

• Promote and foster feelings of amity and fellowship among the families of all the residents.
• Promote the interests and welfare of all the residents.
• Secure redressal of grievances, problems and/or difficulties (if any) of the by making due representation of such problems and difficulties with concerned Authorities and Officials of Government and semi-government bodies.
• Encourage knowledge through fine arts, sports, cultural, literary and social events for the benefit of the members of the Association.
• Implement projects for developing amenities and clean living environment and other such activities to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the residents.
• Represent the interests of the majority of members of the Association.
• Provide regular information to members of the Association and consult with them as appropriate;
• Provide a medium through which members may express their views on matters of local interest; and
• Work with existing local organisations formed to serve the interests of residents and businesses in Newtown, Rajarhat
